“ Excellent meal! We arrived in town late and dropped by accident. This turned out to be a pleasant surprise! My wife and I each ordered the entre + main dish special for $25 euro, plus a craft of the local red The foir grais appetizer was excellent. It included a small salad, foir grais, seasoned bread and some sautayed onions. The fillet beef dish included seasoned fried potatoes and a mushroom sauce. The steak was very tender, cooked to perfection, and had that charred-grill taste. The sauce complemented the steak, and the seasoned fries were delicious. The wine was good as well. The service was excellent. The male waiter was very attentive and professional. The owner (female) delivered the main dish to our table and had some kind words for us. Both were very warm and delivered service with a smile. The only difficulty was that the bill was higher than expected. This was because some of the dishes had an up-charge, which was noted in the menu in French, but not explained to us until the end. So that was kinda both our fault. Overall, a very nice dinning experience. The food had a variety of textures and flavors, and is of good quality The food was served hot, with good presentation, and very tasty. The service was attentive and warm. Truly one of the best dinning experiencs we had during our food pilgrimage throughout France. Tourist from USA. ”

Among our party there was escargot (which had at least 15 snails), shrimp and the burgers. Not a complaint to be heard. Overall a sublime dining experience in a lovely location. ”
